We are incredibly proud of our hardworking, committed Leadership Team, who provide both day-to-day and behind the scenes support in order to keep our Wellbeing Hub running smoothly.
Each of our coordinators is a committed member of our hub team, and has a clear focus on an aspect of our service to ensure that we are able to continue to provide the highest standards of service for our clients.
As a service focused on ongoing development, as well as improvement where this is required, our leadership team work cohesively to share skills and knowledge, with a mindset of working as a group to achieve aims and goals for the benefit of everyone within our service - clients and practitioner alike.




Founding Managing Director, Clinical Lead and Senior Supervisor
Rebekah Jones

Rebekah is our Founding Managing Director, and a multiply accredited Clinical Psychotherapist, Trauma Therapist, EMDR Therapist, Couples Therapist, Critical Incident Debrief Practitioner, Specialist Supervisor, Lecturer and Research Supervisor.
She has 30+ years as a professional working in NHS, charity and private mental health and learning disability services, and within this has led and developed several services as well as worked on the frontline alongside police and ambulance colleagues within Street Triage services, as part of her years as a Senior Nurse Practitioner within mental health services. As a Psychotherapist, Rebekah has worked within palliative care services, secondary mental healthcare services and psychology services, providing ACT, Mindfulness, trauma treatments, psychodynamic psychotherapy, as well as reflection and consultation groups for staff.
Rebekah has invested everything into building Stepping Stones since 2017, despite living with a serious health condition which significantly impacts her day to day life. As a woman who is diagnosed as autistic and dyslexic later in life, Rebekah has become additionally respected within her profession for her professional and personal insight into neurodivergence, and works with many therapists and mental health professionals who are neurodivergent in coaching them in transforming their practice, as well as supervising their clinical work. She believes she is aided by her love of the outdoors, and her extended clinical practice within eco-psychotherapy, which sees her using nature in sessions, especially within trauma treatments.
Aside from clinical and supervisory practice, Rebekah is an experienced Lecturer, and continues to work as a Consulting Tutor for a large training college in London, as well as a growing training school on the Isle of Wight. Over the years, she has taught on a range of counselling, psychotherapy and mental health subjects, including psychodynamic practice, clinical skills, risk and care planning, eco-psychotherapy, stress and relaxation, trauma and trauma informed practice and ethical practice.
She is currently undertaking her PhD, and is bringing her love of eco-psychotherapy together with her psychodynamic clinical training, to explore the experiences of clients and psychoanalytic/psychodynamic clinicians who have worked in the outdoors with patients.
Rebekah's remit
Rebekah leads the whole service; the Wellbeing Hub via the day to day leadership of Sian, our Centre Manager, and the Isle of Wight service, including 'The Garden' eco--psychotherapy provision, on a direct basis.
Rebekah triages all referrals coming into the whole service, and assesses any clients who will be working with student therapists working on placement with our services. She clinically supervises all student therapists, as well as our enhanced associates.

Director
Gareth Jones
Gareth is a HCPC Registered Paramedic, who has worked in NHS services since 2002, both as a frontline paramedic and within A&E departments as a Resus Practitioner.
He is additionally trained to teach staff, and has been involved in the provision of First Aid training and assessment, as well as teaching and assessing students undertaking various stages of ambulance personnel training. He has contributed to the CPD of the Stepping Stones team by providing a teaching session on working within the ambulance service, which included exploration of both the pros and cons of this career path.
Gareth has been a Director with our service since we became a Limited Company, and continues to provide behind the scenes support to our Managing Director as well as for other members of the team where required.
