Our In-house Team
Within our hub, we have a Counselling and Psychotherapy service which is a limited company and has been providing counselling, psychotherapy and specialist trauma therapy since 2017.
Alongside our Associates, our in-house team provide low fee counselling and psychotherapy for a range of clients who are seeking therapy.
Our in-house team consists of:

We expect the highest standards of practice from our in-house team, and are committed to ensuring consistent support to enable our team members to practice safely, confidently and ethically.
We carefully select members of our team and will always prioritise those practitioners who are committed to the ethos of our service, and, therefore, to ensuring the best therapeutic experience for our clients.
All members of our in-house team are required to:
- All be members of recognised accrediting bodies within counselling and psychotherapy (NCPS / BACP / BABCP / UKCP) and are required to provide proof of membership / accreditation.
- Senior members are required to be either a Senior Accredited Professional with the NCPS, or fully accredited with the BACP / BABCP / UKCP.
- Hold insurance for their practice, which has a minimum of £1m public indemnity insurance.
- All be members of the ICO and adhere to GDPR law.
- All be able to provide copies of qualifications for practice, or, in the case of Placement Counsellors, agree to the requirements of our three way agreement and placement agreement.

Rebekah Jones

Rebekah is a Consultant Psychotherapist, Certified EMDR Therapist, Group & Individual Specialist Clinical Supervisor, Certified Trauma Therapist, Couples Therapist, Mindful Meditation Instructor, CISM Practitioner, ACT Therapist, EFT Therapist, Eco-Psychotherapist, COSRT Trainee Sex & Relationship Therapist.
She has over 30 years experience as a clinician working within NHS, private and charitable mental health and learning disability services, including within NHS management.
Her specialism lies with trauma informed practice, and Rebekah has worked extensively with clients who have experienced a range of life traumas, including bereavement by suicide, murder, abuse, domestic violence, major trauma (Grenfell, London and Manchester bombings, Shoreham Aircrash). As an eco-psychotherapist, she frequently uses alternative spaces to enable clients experiencing dissociative episodes to re-engage with reality.
Rebekah is additionally an experienced Lecturer and Research Supervisor within the mental health and counselling / psychotherapy arena, and is currently a Teaching Consultant with the NSPC in London as well as the Lead Tutor within her additional private practice, and within Stepping Stones.
Due to her role leading our service, she works online only and with a very small number of clients.
Training Supervisor
Emma Wallen
BACP accredited Counsellor, MNCPS (accred)
Emma is a highly experienced Counsellor, Couples Therapist and BACP approved Individual and Group Supervisor, and works with our service as a Training Supervisor.
Emma's focus is in supervising all students who are on placement with our service, as well as some of our EA(t)'s who are completing an additional year of practice having qualified alongside us as a student.

Michael Chamberlain
BACP (accred), AAGSRDT
Michael is an accredited BACP Counsellor, and an Advanced Accredited Gender, Sexuality & Relationship Diversity (GSRD) Therapist, who works with individuals, couples and families from our Worthing rooms.
He offers an integrative approach, bringing together aspects of person-centred, humanistic, and systemic therapies to create a warm, non-judgmental, and creative safe space for clients to explore both their challenges and strengths in life.
Michael's expertise includes anxiety, depression, identity, life transitions, long-term health conditions, parenting issues, neurodiversity, and diverse relationship dynamics, with a particular focus on LGBTQIA+, ethical non-monogamy, and GSRD communities.
He holds a BSc (Hons) in Person-Centred Counselling, a Diploma in Humanistic Counselling, and advanced training in systemic therapy and couples work from Tavistock & Portman, and is has been a visiting lecturer at the Institute of Psychosexual Psychotherapy. He is also pursuing an MA in Systemic Psychotherapy and has specialist training in trauma, self-harm, shame, substance use, autism, ADHD, and more.

Fiona is a long standing Counsellor and provides sessions for adult clients at our Worthing consulting room.
